Muster
Events that fill themselves. You build the party once on this website; Muster posts it in Discord with a sign-up button for every role, so you know who is coming before the call.
Set it up, once
A server administrator runs /setup:
- Who can create events, and who may manage other people's events.
- Roles to ping when an event goes up. More than one role can be picked; 🗑️ Clear Ping Roles turns the pings off.
- Event channel, under More Settings: where events are posted, wherever the command is typed.
- Timezone and the default event title.
Build the party
Parties are put together in the Party builder on this website.
- Set the party's size, then pick weapons from the armoury. Each line can have its gear, its spells and a note.
- Press Save party. It is kept under Your parties, and only you see it.
- Press Copy to guild to put it among the guild's parties. Those are what Muster offers in Discord. Your own copy stays, so you can keep changing it and copy it again.
Server administrators choose, in the Party builder's Manage Guild, which Discord roles see the guild's parties, add to them and post events.
Post an event
There are two ways, and both give the same event:
- In Discord, type
/event, pick one of the guild's parties and type the time. A date is optional: leave it empty for today, or tomorrow if that time has passed. - On the website, open a saved party and press Post event. Pick the date, the time (24-hour server time) and the channel.
A location and a description are optional on both.
A sketch of an event, not a screenshot: yours carries your party's own roles.
- Press the button of the role you want. Press it again to leave.
- Gear & spells opens the party's page on this website, with every role's gear and spells as pictures.
- A reminder goes out before the event starts.
Run the event
The event's creator, an event manager or an admin has buttons on the event itself to:
- Edit Event: its title, time, location and description.
- Edit Roles: change how many a role takes, or remove a role.
- Send a reminder, finish the event, or cancel it.
With Smuggler in the same server, a finished event can be handed over as a loot split.
Good to know
/helpshows the commands inside Discord.- Can't see a command? Reload Discord with Ctrl+R.
- Roles come with the party from the website; they aren't built in Discord.
